Assemblymember Rudy Salas Welcomes $2.1 Million for Affordable Housing in the 32nd Assembly District
Sacramento – Assemblymember Rudy Salas, D-Bakersfield, announced today that the California Department of Housing and Community Development has created a $15.4 million fund to help meet the affordable housing needs of families in California. The Cities of Corcoran, Delano, and Lemoore have each been awarded $700,000.
The monies may be used to purchase a family’s first home, allow lower-income families and seniors to remain in their homes, and make rental housing affordable.
